AHHHH!!

I just weighed myself and I’ve FINALLY reached the weight I was in High School!! SO HAPPY (164.4… highest weight was 206). I have another 24.4 until I reach my big goal, but now it’s SO CLOSE I CAN TASTE IT… and it’s ZERO POINTS PLUS. hahahaha

*happy dance*

I’m plateauing.

It sucks.

Not going to give up.

Just frustrated.

Need to make more changes and introduce different exercise.

Maybe writing this will focus me.

Sometimes it helps.

Any one want to share their plateau-buster(s)?

Open to suggestions/tips/etc.

Super yummy strawberry, kiwi, banana smoothie. 2-4 ww points per serving (depending on how much fruit you put in… check recipe builder)!
I didn’t measure so this is approximate. Works with simply filling plan, too.
1 ww french Vanilla smoothie mix1.5 cup Ice 1 Banana 1 cup strawberries 1 whole kiwi (skinned, obviously)1.5 cup water (or as much as you need for preferred consistency.)  Blend until smooth.
So tasty!

30 lbs gone and at least 30 more to go.

I’ve slowed to maybe a 1lb/week loss, but it’s moving in the right direction and that’s all that matters. This is where it gets hard - I’ve been struggling to get into the 160s all of November due to my current parmesan cheese and chocolate obsession (don’t worry… I don’t have them together). My first goal was to be into the 160s - even if only 169.9 - by Thanksgiving… then by today, but I’m 1.9 lbs shy of it. Still not horrible considering most people GAIN over Thanksgiving and I still managed to lose a little bit.

I’m also struggling because normally I’m constantly training for my next half marathon event and I seem to have sprained my ankle, calf, toes, foot or something else/all of them a week before my last event (October 9). It’s been well over a month now and it’s still hurting so I haven’t been able to exercise like normal. I know once I’m healed things will start to drop easier again. MOVING MORE IS KEY.

Lots to do today. Peace out. Stay strong and motivated this holiday season!!

It’s been a while…

But all is awesome. I have stayed on program and am happy to let you know that as of today, I’m officially down 22.4 lbs. I reached my 10% goal last Sunday. I feel so great!

I’m also finally fitting into a size 14. You should’ve been in the dressing room when I comfortably slid into size 14 jeans, a month after I couldn’t even get them over my hips. Okay, maybe you shouldnt have been in the dressing room, but it was an awesome scene: I nearly broke down out of happiness, starting dancing, and pointing at myself in the mirror (“YOU ROCK! You did it!!!” - it was a personal goal to be in 14s by sept 12th). Haha… I’m silly, but whatever! I’m also 22.4 lbs lighter!

So now my eye is set on the 2nd 20 lbs. I’m a third of the way to my overall goal of weighing 140lbs max (healthy for my height of 5’8”). Ill be there before I know it. SO EXCITED!

Week 8’s results!! I’m soooo happy. I haven’t been under 190 since 11/23/08 when I was 189.6, and have been yo-yoing this 10 lbs (190-200) for a good 3 years. MORE than ready to kiss the 190s goodbye, forever, and say HELLO to 180s! But only for a little while - I have bigger smaller goals to get to ;)
Total loss for this week was 4.2lbs which I attribute to increasing my activity level and I planned/cooked my dinners in advance so I wouldn’t be so tempted to veg out when I got home from work. Feta Stuffed Turkey Burgers and Pork Chops w/ salad were the two main evening meals - alternating throughout the week. Also bought a BUNCH of the most delicious peaches ever and a ton of zucchini and had both in a few recipes throughout the week - Peach, raspberry smoothie, feta-onion-tomoato-stuffed zucchini boats, zucchini fries… Super yummy. I love peaches and zucchini. Going to get more this week, FOR SURE.
